May 2026 CPCU Educational Meeting
Once considered cyclical and volatile, WC has emerged as one of the best-performing and most resilient P/C lines, and it’s no accident. This session will unpack the sustainable drivers behind its continued profitability, including:
- A 13% decline in workplace injuries over the past decade—despite rising employment
- Why medical inflation—the biggest cost driver—remains stable
- How fee schedules and higher interest rates are fueling economic strength
- Why high inflation and tariffs aren’t hitting WC the way they do other lines
- And insights from NCCI pointing to potential WC reserve redundancy
Join us to understand why this is not luck, but a line built on structural strength and smart regulation. Whether you’re a broker, underwriter, or executive, this session will provide valuable context and outlook on a line that continues to outperform—and how you can better position your business around it.
